Stop Funkin Off will you?

LMAO

Sorry babe, I am not making light of your funk. Cheer up!

I posted an early HNT this week, maybe that'll help. *wink*

I love the rain.

It washes the memories from the sidewalks.

(Or something like that...)

A soul
Finely polished to reflect
So as not too much to absorb
Will reflect the mood
Of the weather

As it is, the rain will beat
Upon the frosted glass
Distorting the outside view
So too the rain inside
Will slate the colours
Of all that be.

oh the sweet meds, been off for awhile & i miss 'em sometimes. i guess some people are just destined to be sad more than others. hope the sun comes out for you soon!

Oh the rain, same here, although not sure I can place all blame on the weather...think I agree with sassy...sends you some inner sunshine *hugs

Meds are good. I took dilantin for 19 yrs of my life for a seizure diroder... when they fizzed out I "went bi polar" in my 30's and take trileptal for it. Trileptal makes me too d o w n, so now I take lexapro in combo to lift me up.
Oh medsssss....madddness and creativity - and ya know, the sane people take them :) the rest are crazzzy. :) Feel better,
nina

Hi Crabcake,
Think it's a combination weather and end of summer blues.

Manny,
I'm worse than my 83 year old mother who calls to cheer me up.
I've been pissed at blogger so I had to walk away for a while, today I'll buzz around a little-
coming your way! I need HNT, Thx.

Zen-
Very cool.

Odly,
I see the rain outside,
and feel the rain inside.
Lovely prose.

Sassy,
Not much meds, but I was weaning
myself off of Paxil- now I'm back up to 10mgs.
Thx babe.

Yeah Sunny,
I wouldn't term myself a "Happy" person. Never was. I find joy in many things- but it's short-lived.
-After an hard childhood, boozy drug craze-filled adolesence, failed 1st marriage, and recent bankrupcy of my 8 year old company-
negativity toward life overwelms me.
-I know I have so much to be thankful for, including good health, a strong body, a good job
and family- I guess I'm just a little fucked up. Poor me. Wah.

Nina,
How life beats us up, then we beat ourselves up even more, just to finish the job right. Madness? definitely! But is anyone sane in this crazy world?
I have a friend that is close to self-destruction. His wife just threw him out because he's drunk all the time, wants to live the life of a beggar poet.
Everyone has something to help them cope. My dad stopped drinking in his 40's and went nuts.
He died an angry old man.

Neko,
I'm with you on that sweets.

Cherry,
Mrs P laughs because I want it every night, Shes waiting for me to slow down- and I haven't. I love sex- I eat her up (quite literally, my specialty) It's that hot Italian blood.

My good friend is on a cocktail of things and sometimes it's hard to get it just right. I'm glad to see you're climbing out of the funk. Although the rain can be depressing, NOT having it is depressing too (like in Texas) Send some our way, will ya! Take care of yourself Poly....xoxoxo

Cherry! said...

I don't have Italian blood in me, but I love it too!Actually not entirely true. I have Ital in me a few times......Okay more than a few times........

Meds. My breakfast and dinner. Without them I'd be ... I think I'd be not here.

The mind and its chemical soup is an amazing thing. Just a tad annoying when the cook wants more bullion and we want more spice.

With enough meds, you will actually start enjoying the rain...

Funkin rain!

HEY- THE SUN IS OUT, PRAISE ALLAH!

Jlee,
Its funny we've had no real rain last 2 months, then get a good weeks worth, and I fall apart.
To think last month I was bitchin about drought.
-I'm the master of the 360 degree. It's not easy being a Gemini.

Cherry,
How'd you like a little more Italian with a dash of Jew?
Your so funny.

Zooom,
You sound as mixed up as me.

Wendy,
When I got home my kids were outside playing tag in the rain,
completely drenched. I almost went out to join them.

Becky,
Funkin wagnel.
Love ya.

I'm here in the rain too in lower NY State. Where'd summer go? Ah yes, meds. I take more than I can believe at times. That will be my next hurdle

Cherry! said...

I might be interested in such a proposition!!

Polyman2 said...

Ice,
The old "hot soup on the lap" trick, huh? Need a waterproof kilt.

Video-
Yes, you made my day honey.

Hey Phil,
Yea, this was one quick summer.
...and especially us NY'ers need all the med help we can get.

Cherry,
I think I could eat you up.

Poly -- well hope you are feeling better.. I am just usually too happy, OD on good meds :)
Have a great labor day weekend.. I am going to eat lots of polysaturated fats and be a little lets say, polyamorous.

where did my nice little song abou the funk go?

Fleur de Bee said...

I've had technical issues with blogger too. Maybe when we get into our "funks" we can just say Blogger made me do it and call it a day! Hope you have a good weekend!

Polyman2 said...

Nina,
Anything Poly...is always good for you. That's what I tell the wife.
Happy happy med med.

Mia,
Sorry- Love your song- but had to delete "Eye of Poly" and subsequent
post because of blogger parameter difficulties. Got to redo that one,
of course I didn't save it.

Gurl,
Had to hop on your site when I saw your new picture, and comment.
I would love to "funk" with you.
Have a great happy weekend babe.

Hey, wild thing makes another appearance! Love your story,
perked me right "UP". You wrote that with me in mind, right?
Nice dreams Poly.

Fleur de Bee said...

Poly Shallow men MAY apply, but only if you come bearing dark chocolate! LOL

Have a good weekend and thanks for the compliment!! Made my day :)

It's been pouring all week upstate, too.

MIA said...

Poly want a cracker? Lori is blue too. Maybe you can cheer her up?
ok this has nothing to do with anything but my sick thinking. Holywood can start naming the new babies they spawn after the secret codes blogger makes you enter, eh eh great idea huh?

jin said...

Hey poly!
Hang in there...
the world is a 'sweeter' place with you in it!
;-)

Better is good, baby. Glad to hear it.

I listed you by name again! Maybe it will make you laugh! Writing a story- soon. I like it.

Gurl-
Just you showing up here makes my day.

Wild thing,
That's an understatement. Went to sleep the other night dreaming of you and your hot little body/mind.

Lee Ann-
Is that you in that hot new pic?
Well yea, the sun shone Sunday & Monday- took the family out for a rowboat ride, just enjoying the weather and day. Also closed up the pool. Not so much fun.
Hope you had a good one dear girl.

Hey Gyrobo,
That sucks, but what can you do?
Just keep that can of oil around-
fight off the rust.

Wild thing,
I'm feeling much better everytime you come round.

Kim,
With you in that position, I could definitely make you "feel" better. Thanks for coming by.

Mia,
After a while those nasty little codes don't even matter. I could cheer up Lori, now that I'm better,
and you can watch...and yes I just cobble up those crackers sweets.

Jin,
...as long as you top it off with that sweetness of yours. I'm Fine now. Thx sugar lips.

Devil,
You are such a profilic writer,
I scoud spend a whole day on your site and walk away satisfied. and
I've been tagged, oh boy!

Star,
Let's do it and get creative.

Cherry,
Yummy...here I come...
